Welcome to Calm Path Therapy

Great to meet you!

Calm Path Therapy offers virtual sessions for adult individuals and couples in the state of Illinois (with more locations coming soon) specializing in general stressors, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and couple’s therapy, among others.

Calm Path Therapy is also a proud ally with the LGBTQIA+ community and welcomes all.

A bit about my background and approach to therapy.

Are you reaching out because what you have tried on your own is not providing the change you are seeking?

As a graduate of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, I see couples seeking ways to more effectively communicate, better navigate conflict and improve connections. Individuals are seen for a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I have extensive experience working with individuals from various backgrounds and professions, specifically the medical profession around workplace stress.

Calm Path Therapy emphasizes evidence based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with extensive training in the Gottman Method to address relationship needs.

Tools and techniques are introduced and practiced to work towards the goals you would like to achieve. I approach sessions from a personable conversational approach which isn’t overly clinical while addressing ongoing needs, sometimes infusing humor as appropriate. I am client centered but also directive as needed to help you feel empowered and confident in your ability to address the challenges you are experiencing.

What you can expect from our first session.

Taking the first step to seek counseling is not always an easy one. Understanding this, as the founder of Calm Path Therapy, my approach is one of empathy, compassion, respect and collaboration. We will discuss any goals you may have and create a plan around those goals., while getting an understanding of who you are and applicable history.

Calm Path Therapy is a Gottman Relationship Approved Member, so if you are being seen as a couple, you will also complete a Gottman assessment after our initial session which provides a comprehensive result of identified strengths and opportunities for positive change in the relationship with a copy of the results for you to keep. These results will be integrated with your goals and part of treatment planning.

I consider it a privilege to provide you with a non biased, non judgmental space and look forward to speaking with you soon.
